Such a lovely combination of colors and materials in this beautiful perching saucer hat! Blocked with layers of turquoise and natural windowpane sinamay, the base of this hat has a real depth of color and texture. I added some white silk roses, a single white rosebud and some more abstract, ombré tinted silk flowers as well. Tying everything together is a long curl of matching sinamay straw. So pretty and so flattering to wear!
This piece is attached to a sinamay straw-wrapped headband and is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The headband should fit most head sizes, but please let me know if you have any questions about sizing!

I like a hat in your shop but would prefer it had a different trim. Can you swap out the trim on an existing hat for me?
In some cases I can do this and in some cases I can't. Please don't hesitate to ask and we can discuss it!
How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
